Mirano Brussels
Mirano in Brussels is an iconic nightlife venue that first opened as Ciné Mirano in 1934, originally operating as a local cinema. After the cinema closed in 1978, the building was transformed and became a nightclub in 1981, launching the Mirano story that most people know today. It later closed again in 2017 for a major renovation and then reopened in 2019 with an updated concept that kept much of its distinctive character.
Today, Mirano’s purpose is to be a high-energy club and event space: it hosts DJ nights, themed parties, and special events, and it is also used for private bookings. It is widely recognized as one of Brussels’ best-known clubs, not only for its nightlife reputation but also for the building’s heritage value, since the former cinema is listed on Brussels’ safeguarding list (since 27 March 1997).
